   God, I want this guilt to actually leave, not just quiet down for a while. Thank you for the picture of it being removed completely, as far as Christ has carried it. Help me actually believe it's gone, not just forgiven on paper. Let me walk away from it tonight. Amen.

   God, I've been condemning myself more than you are, I think. Help me actually receive no condemnation, because I'm in Christ, instead of manufacturing my own. I don't want to carry a sentence Jesus already paid. Let me put it down. Amen.

   God, this feels like more than a small mistake to me right now. Thank you for saying even scarlet can become white, the way Jesus' blood makes it so. I don't need to minimize what I did to be forgiven for it. Just do what you said you'd do with it. Amen.

   God, I want this actually gone, not just filed away somewhere I can find it again. Thank you for the picture of it being thrown into the deep, because of what Christ already did with it. Help me stop fishing it back out. Leave it where you put it. Amen.

   God, I don't just want the guilt gone, I want to actually be different. Create something clean in me, the way only Jesus can. Renew whatever got worn down by this. Start that tonight. Amen.

   God, I know I can't earn my way out of how I feel right now. Thank you for making this free through the redemption that's in Christ Jesus, instead of something I have to work off. Help me stop trying to pay a debt he already covered. Let grace actually be enough. Amen.

   God, I keep remembering this even when I don't want to. Thank you for saying you won't remember it against me, because of Jesus. Help my memory catch up to your mercy. Let this stop replaying. Amen.
