   God, joy feels like a stretch right now, but I'm reaching for it anyway. Help me see something being built in me through this, not just endured. I don't need to feel joyful to choose it. Meet the choice, even without the feeling. Amen.

   God, gratitude doesn't come naturally to this situation, but I'm trying anyway. Help me find something true to thank you for, trusting this is your will for me in Christ, even here. I don't want to skip this step just because it's hard. Show me what's actually good in the middle of this. Amen.

   God, I think this is just a season, and I'm trying to hold it that way. Help me not treat it like the permanent state of things. Seasons change, and I'm trusting this one will too. Get me through this one well. Amen.

   God, I'm tying my contentment to your presence instead of my circumstances. Help that actually hold up when things don't change right away. I don't need everything to be different to be okay. Just don't leave, and I think I'll be alright. Amen.
